Happy New Year! We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season, but it’s back to reality and time to look ahead. We have a few events scheduled from now until May that we’d like to bring your attention to:

Youth Sunday is scheduled for Sunday, January 27th during the 11:00 am worship service. Our own kids will volunteer to read, greet and collect the offering during church.

Our annual Easter Egg hunt and baby farm animal petting “zoo” is scheduled for Sunday, March 31st. Weather permitting, the children will embark on an egg hunt around the outside of the church and then warm up to cuddly and soft farm animals before the 11:00 am service. No classes on Easter Sunday.

We have tentatively rescheduled the car wash for Sunday, April 21st following the 11:00 am service (weather permitting). The car wash will benefit the Heifer Project to aid with the purchase of farm animals for underdeveloped countries.

Pentecost Picnic is scheduled for Sunday, May 19th following the 11:00 am service. This is the official end to the Sunday School year as we celebrate and give thanks to our teachers and volunteers.

As a parent and/or teacher, your participation during Sunday School is invaluable, so please feel free to volunteer at special events or during class (when needed). It is especially helpful when you offer to bring in snack for your child’s class, so please Look for the class snack sign-up sheets on the bulletin board near Schafer Hall.

In closing, please also keep in mind that we try and start Chapel promptly at 9:45 am. This is so the classes have enough time to gather and get through the planned lessons. Your cooperation is appreciated!
